Over the years, Kratsman used and developed various strategies in order to make visible the military conditions under which Palestinians live.
A photographic archive of a photographer is always also an archive of strategies, position and stances regarding what to make visible and what not to. Though what is in the photograph can never be reduced to these elements, identifying them is important to understanding what were the limits of the visual field at a certain historical moment and how the photographer positioned himself in relation to them.
