Revolt in June / Juni - aufstand
This book was published both in an english and german edition in 1953.
A People's uprising!
For the first time since 1933 the workers took part in demonstrations on June 16 and 17, 1953. No state orders resolution set the masses on the march. They came spontaneously out of the industrial works of the Soviet zone, in Berlin, to make their will known in front of the Soviet zonal "Government building".
"Since the June uprising it has become clear to all that the German nation in thought and will has remained one whole. There are not two Germanies of which one is tuned to freedom and the other infected with communism. There is only one, a Germany whose thoughts are of "freedom".
