Why since 1946 in the town of Cervignano (Friuli, Italy) May 1 is held on Labor Day, with so much participation?
If we go back in history, the festival had been frozen for about 25 years when the "fascist restoration" had taken over from the peasants and workers. But since 1946, with continuity, fellow citizens have wanted to reaffirm their right to work and demonstrate and support this right. Their determination led the Municipality of Cervignano to conceive and print this publication between remembrance and communication, which in time will prove to be a founding point in the continuity of memory in the life of the town. Herein lies the importance of producing publications such as these, to remember and continue to support ideals.
