This topical monograph is a chronological photographic account of the last fifty years of demonstrations through the photographic lens of Tone Stojko. The legendary Slovenian photographer takes you from his first black-and-white and analogue student demonstrations captured in 1968 to the new color and digital photographic recordings of demonstrations in the 'coronavirus' year of 2020.
The book is a thematically rich chronological photographic account of the last fifty years of demonstrations through the photographic lens of Tone Stojko. It is a visual walk, in black and white and color, through the demonstrations in Slovenia, Yugoslavia and Central Europe, accompanied by texts by eminent authors of various profiles and short explanatory texts on the individual demonstrations. In chronological order and in five sections, the stories unfold before the reader from the first student demonstrations captured analogically by Stojko in 1968 to new color and digital photographic recordings of demonstrations in the 'coronavirus' year of 2020.
