This book is not like the others....The idea came exactly on December 24, 1989 in Bucharest in a state of siege. The day before, Jean-Louis Calderon died.
That evening, some forty photographers gathered at the Intercontinental Hotel for a Christmas dinner; the last straw in a lifetime of risks, but also a tribute to their departed friend. During this meal, one of them proposes to gather the photographs of all of them in a book.
They did not forget those in Timisoara. This is the book. It is the first time that all the photographers, present in the field during an event of this kind, have put together their documents, whether they belong to an agency or are independent.
It is impossible to forget that on Christmas Eve in Bucharest, Romanians were fighting for their freedom.
At the request of these photographers, 5000 copies of this book will be sent to the inhabitants of Bucharest and Timisoara.
