This project puts in dialogue, tension, debate, friction, two groups of images: images extracted from the website of the Congress of the Republic with the key word "minute of silence" in counterpoint with a group of photographs taken at protests in Lima between 2013 and 2019, the last one being the constitutional closure of the congress in October 2019.

The images are placed in such a way that there is no linear narrative, and like the voices and slogans that are enunciated during the protests, they make themselves heard (seen) occupying and hiding the background image, as an act of vindication of the popular demonstration over an inert political class, in the simulacrum of the emptiness of the symbolic act and with a very fragile legitimacy.

highly recomended
