As written in the introduction of the site:
"The photographic material is partial. We invite the police, who possess the full documentation of what happened, to publish a photo-book about the events of March in Bologna, given that many of our films were confiscated by them…"
Fatti Nostri is the chronicle of the days of March 1977 which saw Bologna at the center of dramatic events: On 11 March 1977 Francesco Lorusso, a young militant of Lotta Continua, was killed. On March 12, after the riots that followed the event, Radio Alice, the voice of the Bolognese movement was closed by a police raid; then, the following days, Bologna occupied by army tanks, clashes, arrests, Lorusso's funeral and protest sit-ins. The book documents the events of those hectic days with the fights, barricades and riots, the voices live through the waves of Radio Alice and, after its closure, Radio Ricerca Aperta which continues its counter-information work, The Jacquerie collective , the demonstrations in the square. The materials are presented without worrying about giving a definitive interpretation of the events, an operation that is impossible in the immediacy of the events.
