By the title "the Monday demonstration diary" is easy to understand the meaning of this book that
was a chronicle of events and notes on the needs of the Monday demonstrations and the peaceful revolution of 1989 protests in ex DDR.
It's the pictures of the demonstrators crowds moved across the Leipziger Ring on Monday. I can hear the slogans that were called by the demonstrators, as well as the banners they carried. Slogans and banners were one the central expressions of the turning process of the "Oktoberrevolution 1989". Here on the street there were many completely new feeling: as "the strong when you stand together" or "we are the people".
